Speaking the Truth

We don’t like to speak the truth about evil because we’re going to hurt somebody. Let me tell you, you are going to hurt somebody, but that Somebody is God. If you would rather hurt God than your neighbor, there is something wrong with your spirituality. It’s your obligation to speak the truth and everyone can either take it or leave it. But truth must be in us. We live in such poverty of the truth today.

Second Degree of Prayer

The Second Degree of Prayer is the Heart. Once we have the strength to "open the door" to His heart, we are able to accept Him into our hearts, with all of His ways and His will.

This is where we become committed to Him. We accept the nos and the yesses, regardless of how we feel about it. God can't always tell us yes. He tells us no for a reason, and it's because He loves us. He teaches us through our faults and the faults of others. This is how we learn the consequences of our behavior.

So, we fully accept His will and what He wants to do with our lives. In doing this, we accept Him into our hearts.
