Speaking the Truth

We don’t like to speak the truth about evil because we’re going to hurt somebody. Let me tell you, you are going to hurt somebody, but that Somebody is God. If you would rather hurt God than your neighbor, there is something wrong with your spirituality. It’s your obligation to speak the truth and everyone can either take it or leave it. But truth must be in us. We live in such poverty of the truth today.

Bitter Sweet

That's what today is bitter sweet. Today is Inauguration Day and I'm not going to watch it. I'm going to a friend's house to pray the Rosary to our Blessed Mother. We will begin praying around 11 am EST. Please, if you can, join us in prayer, from your home, at that time. Maybe that will strengthen our prayers to open President Obama's heart to God, as he suggests in his own book, and govern our country with morals and direction that lead to Heaven.

Today is a bitter day because we have voted in a President who has no respect for life. We put other gods before our own God like money, in this election and it's very sad.

Today, well the election, was sweet in the way that I came back to my Catholic faith. I feel so strongly about my belief in God and my belief in my faith as a Catholic, that NOTHING will be able to break that.

So, bitter sweet. I am so much more than bitter, but that's all I can do with this right now. So tune in today to my blog. I'm going to be posting quite a bit of abortion information as well as pro-life. So I hope you will come back to read and comment as today progresses. I will be praying that Obama makes the right choices during his presidency.
